We love how quiet this dishwasher is and how clean our dishes get with a wash. We do not like the silverware rack... our handles are wide and we have a hard time putting each piece into the slots. Also, we have dinner plates that are rounded and they won't stack well. They keep tipping forward.... almost sounds like they are going to break. The racks for those, on the bottom, could have more of a curve to them.

After waiting for several months for our Bosch machine (3 months), there was water in it after using it about 5 times. I called customer service and they said the first appointment to come out will be in 1 1/2 months. I called the store we purchased it from, they came out, and there was not more water in it for about 2 washes. The dishes were never dry though. Now, there is water in it again, we wait for another 11 days for the Bosch representative, and we continue to wash our dishes by hand.

I purchased this dishwasher because of the Concumer Reports had reveiwed it to be one of the better ones available. It works as expected. 2 issues that I have run into.
1. The loading. Other dishwashers have a better idea of load dishes. The Bosch still needs some work in this front.
2. The time for cleaning. 2 hours???? OMG, crazy long on normal settings. I had a GE that finally died (20 years of great service) that could clean a complet load in a little over an hour. 2 hours to me is excessive. But I'll live with it.

Great dishwasher that cleans and dries beautifully, is easy to use, looks great, runs quietly, has a third level for tableware and small plates, and was very affordable. My only disatisfaction is that the layout of the first and second level doesn't provide enough room to accommodate enough of our soup and cereal bowls, mugs, and drinking glasses. I've seen some compaints about the spacing of the tines and that is very likely the issue here.

I just got this dishwasher. I previously had a Bosch dishwasher for 10 years and was extremely happy with it. When I got the new one installed I am not as happy with it. The capacity inside, I feel is not as large as my old one. I really do not care for the three racks as opposed to two. Overall, I also do not feel it drys dishes as well as my old one and the third rack sometimes does not clean as good.

This is by far the best dishwasher I've ever owned...and I'm in my 60's...and I have rental properties. THIS appliance gets dishes clean and dry EVERY TIME! The third drawer for flatware is a time saver when time to unload. It's so quiet they put a light that shines toward the floor so you'd know when it was running. Very pleased with our purchase. Great job, Bosch.

Door outer panel damaged in shipment, installed 12/03/2021. Bosch scheduled door replacement service for 01/05/2022 (2770135789). Waited for service representative 4 hours no show, called bosch reason for no show technician not available (ill?).Informed that I have been rescheduled for 02/02/2022 ???. Not happy must wait another month because bosch has manpower problems and after waiting 1 month must go to end of the line because of bosch's problems.

We really like this dishwasher a lot! It cleans very well, drys and santizes and the lay out with the top shelf is great. Highly recommend this dishwasher. We had a 3 year old kitchen aid that did a terrible job and it cost more money than this dishwasher.

I've had this model now for about 1 month and so far I have really liked how well it cleans the dishes. The only thing I'd have to say that could be improved is the way the dishes are dried. I have read the instructions throughly and followed all of the tips provided in the manual to potentially help with the drying. So I have had to either prop the door open to make sure they are dry or take them out and dry them myself.

Glasses come out cloudy even with rinse aid. Will be trying the recommended dishwashing tablets to see if there is an improvement. It does a good job on di2016shes. Purchased another Bosch dishwasher in 2016 which had a sturdier door.
Would like an owner's manual in hard copy but was told I will need to call back in Jan. 2022 which is inconvenient.

I've been using my new Bosch dishwasher approximately 2 months now. We did a complete remodel of our kitchen and baths, so for 6 months, I did without a dishwaher. I can't believe how easy life is now with this Bosch. This is the first Bosch dishwasher I have had, and I must say it lives up to the reputation of being the best. I can load an unload in such a short time. I've found that even leaving food on the dishes (as recommended) does not deter the excellent cleaning done. It is quiet, efficient, and well designed. I especially enjoy the top utensil rack making it practically effortless to load and unload. Also, the very deep bottom rack allows me to wash my air fryer bin and large pots that used to not fit and had to be done by hand. Bravo to Bosch!

I've owned and purchased about a half dozen Bosch dishwashers over the years. Our last one died, and it was cheaper to get a new one. I thought, - no problem. They only get better over time. This is a far exception. This new one is terrible. Does it clean dishes? Yes. But it has an insane amount of small annoyances that make this thing simply not worth the money. 1> the electronics and buttons, and how it works have slid GREATLY down from a model of just 5 years ago. The usability just stinks compared to previous generations. Baffling buttons when you deal with delayed start, and 'restarting' the unit if it is interrupted. 2> the bottom tray by design has a horrible rail system. Pull it out to load dishes, and then try to roll it back in. ITs weighted wrong, slides off the tracks, things go everywhere, and you get amazingly annoyed. Each and every time you roll the thing in and out. This is a miserable design flaw. 3> The 2nd rack fits really nothing even remotely high as it hits the silverware rack. 4> All around everything is built cheaper than units from just 2014. Parts down fit well, everything seems and just feels 'cheap'.
Overall this really makes me sad. Bosch is such a great company and has made great things for as long as I have known. I've been willing to pay the premium price. Not any more.
Don't buy this, unless you like being annoyed.

In this time that cleanliness and sanitizing your home to stay safe has become critical, one of the best ways to do that is to make sure your dishes are spotlessly clean. Our Bosch dishwasher has worked perfectly and has never left a speck of food on anything put in it. Getting a dishwasher to work well, be quiet, simple to use, and reasonably priced is a tall order as we wrap up 2021. One extra nice feature that we enjoy is the red light that shines on the floor to let us know that it is working as the machine is so quiet it is hard to hear. If the light solid you are good to go. If it is blinking something is right and it needs attention. Such a simple but effective way of knowing that in a couple of hours all will be clean and dry.

This dishwasher is so much smaller inside than others that are the same size. It cannot hold dinner plates and large cups on separate levels. I am forced to move the upper shelf repeatedly, and really think hard about utilization. Awful. Also, the drying is challenging...plastic does not dry, ever, no matter what. So incredibly disappointed by this...

My children have started teasing me, because every time I open the dishwasher, I exclaim, "They're so CLEAN!"
Never have I been so delighted with an appliance. The washer loads and unloads beatifully, and the third rack for silverware and the adjustable second rack are fabulous. And it's quiet! So quiet I honestly don't know when it's running, unless I look at the machine.

With washer we replaced, used to thoroughly rinse dishes before loading. No more. Have run heavily soiled dishes through the Auto cycle with Extra Dry option and everything comes out spotless (do use an eco-friendly rinse aid) and dry (with minor exception of flatwear in the side basket). Love that this model does not have a heat cycle and dries via a condensation method. Is very energy efficient. The only improvement I would suggest is having more room for cereal-size bowls.

The installation went well and the kit was not needed to hook to existing electrical. It is so quiet you can run it will watching TV. It appears that extra dry cycle must be used to completely dry the dishes. Thhe glassware and dishes are very clean-much cleaner than previous DW. The door seems to have a 4" crease flaw that I did not see at installation. Overall the Bosch works well.

From my understanding, Bosch dishwashers are supposed to be amazing. While this model is certainly quiet and washes ok (sometimes it leaves a soap residue), it DOES NOT dry well. The installer said to ensure proper drying that I needed to use rinse aid. Not only do we use it, but we always click the "extra dry" option. Neither of those things seem to matter. My dishes are always, always, always wet.

On the plus side, the dishwasher is VERY quiet, looks nice, doesn't take forever, and seems to clean well. I'm hoping it holds up well but there is a surprisingly flimsy feeling to the interior. My biggest regret is the design of the interior - it's just odd and doesn't work well with our dishes. Overall, we won't be able to load as much as we did in our previous machine. We ordered it online thinking the layout from any major brand would be fine but I really wish we had gone to the store to see the design of the racks. Also, the machine beeps every time you shut the door - why?? If you're someone who likes to load throughout the day as dishes are used, it's exasperating. A light red shines on the floor when machine is running - I prefer a design where there is a less obvious light on the machine when a cycle is complete.

I wanted a different model but it was not available at the big box store. With limited time, I went with the store rep's recommendation, despite it costing more than the model I had in mind. This model has three racks but the top is good only for silverware snd small custard cups. The handle doesn't have the sleek lines I like.
But the biggest disappointment is that this machine is not quiet. Bosch is usually so quiet that they added that little red floor spot to show you when it is running. However this model makes it very clear that it is running. It is doing a good job cleaning

First and foremost, we really love our Bosch dishwasher. However it was a real challenge to get it installed correctly!! It took the installers 4 tries AND 2 dishwashers- they literally sprung the door on the first one! It was installed so poorly, the door wouldn't latch properly!! They than said it was a bad dishwasher- NOT!! I don't blame this on Bosch at all- we've had great luck with Bosch products, but installation was a nightmare, but we did get another one installed properly by a plummer.

The Bosch dishwasher is beautiful, but I have a difficult time placing bowls in it. It seems better suited for plates. I also clicked on "Auto" to wash and had to take the manual to see how to change to other wash circles. So far, the dishes are clean!

A $500 board went out in our old dishwasher so we decided to buy a new one. This one is smaller and the soap pods we use do not drop through, hence it does not wash as well. We have resorted to opening the pods and pouring the powder in. In the future we will get powdered or liquid detergent. Even then it does not clean as well as the old one and is much noisier.
Also the directions show an elbo connector for the hot water input, which was not included so we had to find one, which was almost impossible and cost $7. For the price we paid for the dishwasher, it should have been included.

I LOVE MY Bosch 100 series AY55N dishwasher!!!!!!! Seriously, this dishwasher cleans EVERYTHING better than I've ever seen! My double walled glasses, my white Corelle dishes look cleaner than when they were new! I could kick myself for not having replaced my old Maytag sooner . This Bosch is quiet and I love the red light the shines subtly on the floor to let me know that unit is running (or not). I had also started using "green" dishwashing powder to get away from plastic and chemicals so I was initially concerned they wouldn't live up the the industry leaders of dishwashing detergents-- well, I'll repeat myself-- my DISHES HAVE NEVER LOOKED CLEANER! :) I love the third rack and the adjustable top rack. I also love that there's no heating element to dry the dishes... Bosch's drying method works just fine! I am really, really happy! Well worth $850.00 !

Even pushing the "extra dry" button does not leave the dishwasher and all of its contents actually dry. Water lingers on the edges of glasses, at the tops of overturned cups and throughout the washer itself.

This is not the first Bosch dishwasher I have owned. I absolutely love how it cleans. I thought I would save a few dollars and purchase a different brand but the quality of it was horrible and I would tell anyone that Bosch is definitely worth the few extra dollars because the quality and performance is definitely superior to other brands.

Had a great kenmore dishwasher about 20 years ago. Since then I've had Whirlpool, Samsung and a LG. Finally broke down and purchased this Bosch. Best dishwasher I've had since the kenmore. Dishes come out completely clean and dry. The inside of dishwasher will stay wet so after running a cycle, I leave the door cracked open. I use Finish tabs and I scrape off dishes not rinse.

I do not think my delay feature is working properly. Light never comes on. ( I need to contact Bosch about this.)
I like the top rack for large utensils but it does take up space. I find it difficult to fit wine glasses on middle rack and large plates on bottom rack.
Is very quiet and cleans well. Just need to figure out the delay.

Quiet operation a plus . You will need to use rinsing /drying agent to avoid water spots and achieve best results . Love the top rack ! Have not been disappointed in operation or results thus far . The door seems somewhat light weight , almost flimsy , time will tell how it holds up over time .

Replaced my old Bosch, read some good reviews about this one. Its very quiet and looks good. The setup inside does not allow for as much washables as my previous model, and the prongs are set up in a weird fashion. Does a better job drying when you use the rinse liquid.
